This website is operated by Melwood Furnitures (Pvt) Ltd (“Melwood”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), located at No. 35, Upper Indibedda Rd, Moratuwa. By accessing or using www.melwoodfurnitures.lk (“Site”) and/or purchasing products (“Service”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”).

If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Site and Services.

1. ONLINE STORE TERMS

  • The currency for transactions is Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).

  • Credit/debit card payments are processed via our secure third-party payment gateway and redirected to the Site after authorization.

  • You may not use our products for illegal activities or violate applicable laws.

  • You are prohibited from transmitting malicious code (e.g., viruses, malware).

  • Orders are confirmed upon successful payment and acknowledgment from our team.

  • Product availability is subject to change; refunds are provided for unavailable items within 10 working days.

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and other Sri Lankan bank cards via our payment gateway.

  • Cash on Delivery is available where enabled—payment is collected upon delivery.

Failure to enforce any part of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision later.

21. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

22. DISPUTE RESOLUTION / ARBITRATION

Disputes should first be resolved amicably. If unresolved within 30 days, they will be referred to arbitration in Colombo under the Arbitration Act No. 11 of 1995 (in English).

23. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms at any time by posting changes to the Site. Ongoing use after updates constitutes acceptance.
